Veterinarian availability varies—book an appointment to ensure one is onsite. Clinics provide only routine vaccines and preventive tests. For emergencies, visit the nearest emergency vet hospital.
No issue with Vet or Vet techs. All have been wonderful handling both younger and older pets.
But if there any issues after your visit dealing with Vetco is frustrating. 3 years rabies was marked as 1 year. After weeks of phone calls to Vetco and no progress the only fix was to go to Petco with my paperwork from current and previous visit and have the on-duty Vet handle the issue. Issue corrected early on following Monday – As I said Vets are wonderful.
I went to fill heart worm Rx at Costco. Like I have for last 8 years but this year I did not receive a Prescription but a “Vetco Prescription Record”. Needed to call Vetco and they could not send a prescription but could only call it into the pharmacy. Every year the process gets more difficult and expensive.
Additionally, when working with Vetco the agents either do not have, or are not allowed to give out, a Customer Service phone number or email.

its a quick and robotic process. Only vaccines are provided at these appointments. Your county provides reduced or free vaccine services: however, I found this out a day late and a dollare short.

I just want to give a big heartfelt THANK YOU to the team at Vetco. From the moment I walked in, I felt like Juno and I were in good hands. You can tell they genuinely care—not just about the pets, but about the people too. The process was easy, the prices were more than fair, and they took their time answering all my questions without rushing us through.
Juno got her 2nd set of puppy vaccines, a full check-up, and lots of love from the staff—tail wagging the whole time. That tells me everything I need to know. 🐾
Highly recommend if you want kind, competent care without the hefty price tag. I’ll definitely be back.
UPDATE: Still a glowing review after 3rd puppy vaccine (Pup Shield Pro)
I wish I'd known about Vetco Vaccination Clinic—and now Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital—sooner! These clinics inside Petco stores offer unbeatable value: no exam fees, low-cost vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm prevention, testing, prescriptions—and comprehensive care at their full-service hospitals .
I just purchased the PUP SHIELD PRO 3-visit package for my puppy, Juno, which includes all-in-one vaccines, testing, and microchipping for just $235. That’s a savings of $261 compared to a la carte pricing. And believe me, I’ve never walked out of a vet’s office paying less than $300 per visit before.
What stands out most is the ease and transparency: all appointments are straightforward, conducted by licensed veterinarians, and you can book weekend or evening slots too . Vetco’s new Total Care hospitals also offer full checkups, dental care, surgeries, and more—giving me one reliable spot for everything Juno needs .
Highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for quality care without the premium price!
