- MRMelissa RojasJan 4, 20265.0Had a great experience today at the Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Bowie. Happened to look it up since my animals were due for rabies shots and saw they had same-day openings. Self-scheduling was super easy. Check-in was also very easy and there was virtually no wait time. The vet and vet techs were great! I brought in my dog and cat. My dog is a little skittish and they handled her so well. We were in and out in no time! Would definitely use them again in the future!!

When i was welcomed into the office no one acknowledged me or my cat and they just talked to each other. Very upsetting situation. Do better Vetco

But if there any issues after your visit dealing with Vetco is frustrating. 3 years rabies was marked as 1 year. After weeks of phone calls to Vetco and no progress the only fix was to go to Petco with my paperwork from current and previous visit and have the on-duty Vet handle the issue. Issue corrected early on following Monday – As I said Vets are wonderful. I went to fill heart worm Rx at Costco. Like I have for last 8 years but this year I did not receive a Prescription but a “Vetco Prescription Record”. Needed to call Vetco and they could not send a prescription but could only call it into the pharmacy. Every year the process gets more difficult and expensive. Additionally, when working with Vetco the agents either do not have, or are not allowed to give out, a Customer Service phone number or email.
