  Worst Banfield location, front desk staff is absolutely terrible. I called twice with concerns about my senior pet and was hang up on twice. After I was already placed on hold for more than 20 minutes. I went in person and was met with an off putting demeanor. I was told I could come in the next day but then was told I had to wait an additional day. I found a sooner appointment at a different location. Please save your energy, time, and money and not go to the Woodmore location. Costumer service training needs to be a priority at this location.

  The communication regarding the customer service at the St Joseph drives Banfield Hospital location was unacceptable. my dog has literally been going there since I want to say October 2025 with the intentions that this was his primary care to receive clinical treatment he just received his heartworm pills January 2nd 2026 in which I was advised that I need to come up there monthly to get the pills so that he can continue his treatment up to 6 months his expiration I had to come up there was by February 1st 2026 to my understanding mind you there was no communication of each time that I need to come up there I need to bring my dog and so I called the same location on Friday January 30th 2026 and I was advised that I had to come back to the location to pick up the medicine it could not be distributed elsewhere and so I went to the Banfield Pet Hospital on St Joseph Drive Saturday January 31st 2026 and I spoke to one of the Reps that were at the desk she was light skin with long hair she didn't have a name tag on that I didn't see and she wore blue so she greeted me but when I gave her my pet's name and told her what I was here for the first thing that rubbed me wrong was the fact that she told me his records needed to be transferred out of the Mitchellville Bowie Maryland location which I don't understand why when I've never received service from that location then she explained to me that he needed to be there to check the weight because the prescription was based on the pets weight average and I advised her that I was not aware of that because nobody explained that to me I was just advice to continue to picking up the medicine until he was no longer supposed to take it anymore and so she turned me away. I'm very displeased with how the customer service went just because of the fact that I'm not saying she is not doing her job however my dog like I said has been receiving services from the Banfield Pet Hospital on St Joseph Drive Bowie Maryland or Largo Maryland since October 2025 and yet I am just finding out that his records were at another location

  I moved to the DMV from Florida in 2024 and went to three Banfields multiple times before finding one I like. I’ve never had any issues getting Saturday appointments at this location which is a major plus in my book. I bring both my cat and dog and have always experienced excellent service from the clerical staff and an extraordinary level of care from the vet techs (even when my cat is a little spicy). The doctors are very knowledgeable and take their time explaining anything that might be going on with your pet. They’re now open on Sundays too! The only downside is that the doctors seem to float around so my babies don’t have a designated dr they can get to know and grow comfortable with (which they had in Florida) but I didn’t get that from any of the banfields I’ve been to in Maryland. They’re also one of the few banfields in the area that actually answer the phone which is very important to me when I order prescriptions on Chewy.

  Miss Bella and I appreciate the staff of the Banfield Pet Hospital in Bowie Maryland on St Joseph Drive just as they were in Largo Maryland they are very professional very friendly and I rarely have any seriously concerns with bringing my pet here Dre, Tati , Dr. Gessesse and Kai. Thank you all
