Excellent customer service! Excellent care. My pet, who is normally very frightened of the vet, was happy and willing. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I’m honestly pretty disappointed with my experience.
The first time I went to bondvet in January I was pretty nervous, I’d never been to a real vet before just clinics for vaccines ect. But my newer kitten had developed diarrhea and a cold and it wasn’t getting better. The first time I went everyone was so nice. The front desks the tech, Dr. Jody the vet. It was a great experience. It was super expensive but it felt worth it for the service and peace of mind. My kitten was diagnosed with a parasite and sent home with medicine and recommendations for other medications and a follow up.
A few weeks later I came back with both my cats to get vaccine follow ups and follow up on my kittens treatment plan and retesting ect. And it was an okay experience. And again very expensive. And this time Dr Jody just wasn’t as nice. I felt dismissed and left feeling like I didn’t want to go back but thought I was too sensitive.
Again many expensive products were recommended.
I went back today for the third time to follow up on my kittens now chronic diarrhea and Dr Jody was very dismissive and not compassionate at all. She gave me a list of very expensive tests and told me it was going to cost a lot and be super hard to diagnosis and shrugged it off when I told her I couldn’t afford it. I had been trying to get my kitten neutered and that had required a vet clearance revolving around the diarrhea and she was very unhelpful and told me that she couldn’t guarantee he wouldn’t have diarrhea for the surgery and that the only way to get rid of it would be to do all of these tests (tests that would cost over 1000$ just for the start)
She was dismissive of my concerns. Her tone was unkind. And all of this without lookin at my cat. She then assessed him. Looked him over and listen to him and weighed him. And then charged me 115$ for an exam visit.
The feeling I walked away with was that me and my pet aren’t cared about. It really is just all about money. It’s a super pretty room. And you’re charged for the view. I’m really disappointed .
I will say the receptionist and the tech were super super nice and pleasant. But Dr. Jody left a lot to be desired.

Dr. Magowitz at Bond Vet Bethesda is a phenomenal vet. She is incredibly smart, practical, realistic and empathetic. I highly recommend her. I do wish the company would utilize less AI and make it easier to speak to real people when you are calling with a question.

We love Bond Vet Bethesda. The team is attentive and truly cares about our dogs. We bring both of them here and they are always well taken care of. A huge plus is that they run our pet insurance at checkout, so we don’t have to deal with filing claims ourselves. It makes everything so much easier. Our dogs are genuinely happy to be there, which says a lot. Customer service is excellent, and we never have to wait long. Highly recommend.
