    Dear Petco Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment regarding the recent treatment and grooming experience at your Bel Air, MD store#: 2890 Petco. I have been a loyal customer since 2022, consistently trusting your grooming services for my dog. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me feeling disrespected, unheard, and ultimately referred to another Petco without any notice or valid reason. My dog has been groomed by Katya R. since his previous groomer left. Although there have been several issues in the past such as inconsistent grooming quality, missed nail trims, ear hair removal, and paw pad trims I continued to give her the benefit of the doubt and remained a loyal customer. Each time I noticed an issue, I brought it up in hopes that the service would improve. On September 24, 2025, I brought my dog in for a 4:00 PM appointment. Katya called me at 5:10 PM to let me know he was ready for pickup. I live approximately 30 minutes away, and that day there was traffic due to an accident and I communicated that. I arrived at 5:45 PM to pick up my dog. When I arrived, Katya was noticeably rude and dismissive. If she was unwilling or unable to accommodate later pickups, there should not be late appointment slots offered, especially if the grooming department closes at 4:30 PM. I have phone records verifying the timing of her call and my arrival. Following this, I was shocked to see a message on my Petco app stating that my dog was being referred to another location with no prior notice, explanation, or communication. When I called to inquire, I spoke with the General Manager, Andre, who informed me that my dog was being referred out and claimed that he had been left at the groomer for seven hours a complete and provable lie. Andre was dismissive, unprofessional, and entirely lacking in empathy. When I requested to escalate the issue to corporate, he told me, “They’re just going to send it back to me and I’ll have to call you.” This entire experience has been extremely disappointing. As a loyal customer who has spent years trusting Petco with my pet’s care, I expected professionalism, courtesy, and honesty. Instead, I received disrespect, false statements, and no accountability. I am requesting that this matter be formally reviewed by someone beyond the store level, that the referral decision be reconsidered, and that both Katya R. and Andre be spoken to regarding their conduct and customer service approach. I would appreciate a written response regarding this complaint and the steps Petco intends to take to address it. Very Unsatisfied Customer, Tiffany B.

    This little girl said my small friendly dog tried to bite her when he never bit or tried to bite someone EVER. Maybe they need professional groomers. UPDATE the little girl that couldn't handle my Shorkie put a siren out to all petco's and he couldn't go to any so I took him to another groomer and they handle him good. Law suit I'm fighting for.
