He offered recommendations and answered my questions. He walked me around each section pointing out different products and giving me his opinions based on his aquariums at home. He even wrote down a few websites he likes where I could research more. I will go to this location for my aquarium needs just to get help from Michael.

I went to the front with my dog food and attempted to upload my coupons while in the store, but unfortunately the Wi-Fi signal was very weak and I was unable to do so. I was trying to be proactive because the cashier (who is normally very kind) usually has to upload them for me. When I got to the register, a young lady stated that she would need to contact corporate to upload the coupons. I have been shopping at this location for over two years and have never had this issue before. I ended up having to call someone myself and wait while they uploaded the coupons for me. While I was standing there, another customer entered the store. Both young ladies immediately greeted her and were extremely helpful. Their demeanor toward me, however, remained very stoic and unwelcoming. I was genuinely perplexed by the difference in treatment. This was my first truly awful experience at this location, and unfortunately it has led me to the decision to close my accounts and shop elsewhere. On its own, this situation might not seem major. However, as an African American customer who watched a Caucasian customer receive noticeably different treatment, it made the experience far more troubling and disappointing
