- TPToni PerryMar 8, 20261.0I normally have a good experience with grooming at this Petco. Recently I took my 13lb Pomeranian in for grooming. I paid for extra brushing and an extra deshedding package with a bath and haircut. My dog was not brushed or deshedded. THe haircut was horrible. The girl basically did a sanitary trim with some trimming in her sides. She did not touch the top, stomach or around her face/head/neck. I’m sure you can imagine how that looks. The areas she did trim were extremely choppy. Definitely did not look like a professional groomed her. I ended up paying $200+ to have my small dog groomed correctly since I had to take her to a different groomer and have her groomed a second time the correct way. I paid over $100 at Petco for the groomer to not know what she was doing. I contacted customer support and was told someone would reach out to me about my complaint and was never contacted. If you go to this Petco for grooming please check your groomer. I had scheduled with a specific groomer that normally does my dogs grooming and knows how to groom her and was given someone who did not know what she was doing
