Terrible. The tech did not know how to handle a scared dog to get him out of the cage. So she called me to come and get him out. This tech should have been taught by the so called manager to be competent in all necessary procedures performed at this facility. I got my dog from the dark corner of the cage where he was shaking..

The 2 things I liked about them is they would have an available room at appointment time where many vets you have to sit and wait just to get a room. Once in the room we still had to wait but at least didnt have to deal with a crowd in the waiting room with 3 dogs. The 2nd and most important thing I liked and why we switched to this vet is their prices were better than all the other vets. But We had to stop going there. My dog had a 6 month refill for a medicine we pick up there and on the 2nd month called for it and was told the Dr who prescribed it no longer works there so our refills were now invalid! That we had to come back in, pay for the dog to be seen again by their new vet which I did then was told had to have a $300 blood test before they would fill it after paying for the appointment we didn't need! Are they saying they had a vet working for them they didn't trust so the refills are invalid because that vet was no good? Then that says everything about who you hire. Then why wouldn't possibly trust your new dr if you didn't trust the old? And YOU deciding to change YOUR doctor should have no fall back on the clients whatsoever ever. So this is about money so now we started at a new vet where we had to start over but I prefer that to a vet who is forcing us to start over after my dog had already been seen and has refills they wouldn't honor. Also, I didnt like that they didn't do the dogs physical exam in front of us. They said for 'sterilization' which is bull. You can't touch my dog in front of me, make sure no lumps, check eyes and ears etc due to sterilization? If I can't see how you check my dog I can't trust you. And I have 3 dogs so no way aim paying for 3 to start over at the same vet because you decided to change drs

I made a drop off appt at Banfield Middle River to be seen this morning for severe paw biting and odor. Paws were red ,swollen and lacking fur in some areas. Both ears are red and also had an odor. He also was scratching other areas . I received a call within 20 minutes of the drop off from an angry tech demanding that I had to come and get him out of the cage because they could not due to his barking and biting of the cage door. Tried to ask a question but she kept saying that I had to come and get him. Mind you he has always done well with other visits with me there. By the time that I got there I was so upset wondering what they had done to Doby.I asked to talk to the tech and they would not allow this so the"manager " came to talk to me . Yes I raised my voice still afraid of what they did to Doby. I was finally allowed to get him out of the cage. He was cowering and shaking in the corner of cage. I said this was unacceptable care and the manager stated " oh she is just a kid referring to the tech." Needless to say a demeaning note was documented in Doby's chart about me. So what ,I am a big girl , say what makes you feel better. I was only concerned that my pup received no care and am hoping that his symptoms do not become a systemic infection.
