As a pet owner, it can be overwhelming trying to make sure you’re doing everything right, and I walked in with a lot of questions and uncertainty. From the moment Emily stepped in to help, that stress completely melted away. She didn’t just give quick answers, she actually took the time to explain why things matter, what to look out for, and how to confidently care for my pet long-term. It felt more like a genuine conversation than a rushed appointment. Emily has an incredible ability to break down information in a way that’s easy to understand while still being thorough and thoughtful. You can immediately tell she’s extremely knowledgeable, insightful, and genuinely passionate about animals and their well-being. She made me feel informed instead of intimidated, which is something I really appreciate as a pet owner. Beyond her expertise, Emily has such a warm and calming presence. Make sure you're firm with them they will try to sneak stuff in. They weren't aware that I'm experienced and have been in the business for over 8 years now. I could have spoke up but I wanted to see the practice and didn't mind paying extra. My normal place was just so busy I wanted someone else to do it. What a mistake I made. The girl at the front desk though was absolutely wonderful and sweet (my star is for her) If you like Banfield because the price I urge you to go to the Salem or Danvers location instead.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
