I hope I never, ever, ever need to bring my pets there ever again. The Banfield business plan is just inappropriate and horribly executed. The techs seem to do most, if not all the work, which is beyond their scope, and with insufficient intervention on the part of the vets. The techs also try to sell you add-on services like additional labs, even before talking to the vet to see if your pet needs additional labs. Because you are speaking with the tech, and not the vet, they are also unable to explain why the test is needed and how the information will fit into the treatment plan. Another thing, regardless of the situation, the tech needs to ask you if you want nail trimming and anal gland services at every visit, even when the dog they are triaging is about to die because of their incompetence in executing a “wellness plan” and their inability to explain anything, or recommend a referral when the dog is still easily managed (i.e., before substantial damage occurs). Yet they have the nerve to have posters in the rooms that poke fun at people who use the internet to try and educate themselves on why their pet is getting sicker and sicker despite repeat visits over 3-4 months. This is all more of a “business plan” than a “wellness plan”, and the monthly cost continues to rise despite a decrease in quality of services rendered.

I will never go back to this location, and I’m honestly not sure I will ever go back to a Banfield. I brought my senior cat into this location. The front desk staff was extremely rude and cold. They barely communicated with me and made me feel like I was a burden for even brining my cat in. In the room, I only saw the actual doctor for 2 minutes, not even. The rest of the appointment was with the nurse who was a very young girl - probably fresh out of school. I will say she was the ONLY kind staff member. I was told he had severe dental problems and that he was having kidney function problems. Things did not look very good for my cat, but I was given hope and instructions on how to administer his medicine myself. I was then presumed into getting on a senior wellness plan and told to set up a follow up appointment the next week with him. Unfortunately, my cat did not make it through the weekend. The medicine seemed to have made him worse. I am not necessarily blaming that on Banfield, but there were things that they missed that I’m shocked about. I took my cat to a different emergency vet hospital. I explained what Banfield had told me about his condition. This vet told me that my cat had a completely different condition ( a tumor in my cat’s mouth.) And I was advised to put my baby to sleep. That Monday I called Banfield to let them know what had happened. The front desk staff on the phone was really nasty about my cat’s death, and apparently never took it down to cancel my appointment, even though my cat was no longer in this world. The day of what would’ve been his follow up appointment I was called by the front desk staff to ask where I was. I had to remind them that I called to let them know my cat had passed, and nobody had taken note of it. As soon as I reminded them, they were nasty with me again… This was almost a year ago. I recommend no one goes here with their cats. I’m giving two stars just because of the one kind young nurse.

Very nice staff. Helpful for my anxious pup . My only complaint is everything has an ‘upsell’. My dog has a routine medication he receives monthly, but to obtain his shot he must have a vet visit ($95). Or a tech visit ($65). When there has been no change in health or status. Always ‘offering’ more services, but at an increased cost. Leave there feeling like I’ve been fleeced every time .

Drove a friend here for a 19 year old cat, that was very ill and ultimately needed to be euthanized. They were very accommodating and squeezed is in an hour after the intial call, they walked us through every step and where extremely patient and understanding with my distraught friend. The parking lot is rather small but finding a spot is not usually a problem, though it can be a little dangerous/ tricky , backing out of the lot
