  We've been going to Southborough Vet for more than 15 years. Dr. Ogden has seen us through acquiring new pets and losing old ones always with knowledge and kindness. Her ministratons to my pets (and me) have been not only excellent from a scientific/medical point of view but caring and compassionate from person-animal and person-person points of view. One of the staff, Kaley Leite, has provided in-home pet care of such quality that I call her my cat's co-parent. Five stars don't begin to express the quality of care we've received at Southboough Vet!

  We arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment and we were sent to the waiting room with our rescue puppy where we waited approximately 37 minutes for the vet to come upstairs. Our dog made a mess and when we went to clean it (assuming the vet techs would assist) they were rude and asked “does it stink up there?” The vet named Cummings entered the room and 2 minutes later determined that our dog “isn’t good with people,” so they decided to take shelter dog already housed twice alone in the hallway to “make friends,” with him. One would assume that a dog taken from multiple owners would not attempt this. He rightfully peed all over the hallway while we overheard the vet complain about the mess. She walked back in the room and gave us two scripts for an adult sleep medication and gabapentin. When we asked how this would be helpful and what dose to give she replied “well just play with it but we are not moving forward with this visit because he snapped at us.” $300 later we were left alone in the room and told to leave out of the back entrance. This place is uncaring and simply makes assumptions without merit while tossing meds at people. They clearly have issues with shelter dogs. Do not use this vet

  A couple years ago I brought my dog in because I felt a big lump towards her abdomen. She just had her physical (it wasn't caught by the doctor). She told me my dog had this incurable cancer without even seeing what it actually was and was trying to convince me to put my 2 year old dog down..... She cared more about it being more cost effective to put my dog down rather than helping with resources for cancer treatment. 2 years later after my baby had surgery we found out that she had a benign ovarian tumor and will live a beautiful and happy life. I will never recommend or bring any animals here again. The lack of empathy for animals is wild and she should not have even gone into this field.

  We use southborough vets for our dog They have always been great and are really good at getting our dog calm Good value and excellent appointment system I would highly recommend them

  Absolutely lousy experience- so concentrated on upselling my cat was NOT treated. Price for vaccines for 1 cat and dog- $675.00!
