- LALes AOct 6, 20251.0We brought in Jasmine for a complete grooming, minus toe nail trim. When we picked her up, she smelled LIKE DIRT,! Worse than she smelled when she went in!! The only visible change was that her coat had been brushed!! Part of this package was anal gland extraction; however, she still scoots after she poops, indicating to me that it was not done. After taking a sniff of my dog, I called the grooming salon ( Petco, in Saugus, Massachusetts) and spoke to Jacob, her groomer. I told him that she smelled like dirt, and he actually asked me when was the last time Jasmine was groomed!,, None of his business, as his job, for which he was paid, was to complete a professional grooming!,, However, he did offer to do another grooming , free of charge. Initially, I said maybe, and after hanging up, I decided to call to schedule the new appointment. That was on Friday; Jacob returned my call Sunday. We declined the new appointment. This was ,by far, the worst grooming experience Jasmine ever had! And it was our first time going to the Petco salon. NEVER AGAIN, AND I’LL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS WITH PETS HOW BAD IT WAS!!!
