  The store is neat and clean and all of the colleagues are very helpful and very friendly. I found everything I needed and had an excellent experience. I highly recommend petco.

  THIS IS AN EDITED REVIEW I previously deleted a review that was 2 stars, and now I’m updating to 1. Updated Review: I stopped in the store to quickly grab pet food as I was on my way home. I checked to see if anything has been done since I left a review regarding the health and wellbeing of the animals, and was told in a response that if I have concerns, I need to bring it up to the store. Here’s the thing.. addressing the lack of care to the very store that’s refusing to do anything.. isn’t working. I would say the majority- not all as I have had a few nice employee interactions- of the staff here are AWFUL. They’re downright rude. I waited around the register for several minutes before someone came up there. I also took note that there are still so many dead fish in the tanks, and the tanks are filthy. I used to be in management AT a petco, and we always had to ensure habitat cleanliness, and it’s just an off-putting look seeing so many dead fish everywhere. Previous Review: I cannot favorably rate this location at all. I prefer the Peabody location, but this one is on my drive home so if I’m in a pinch, I’ve had to stop here. The tanks are FILTHY. The aquatics specialist should pride themselves in their work, but this location is deplorable. The tanks are always absolutely nasty. They’re over ordering on fish because the larger fish hardly even have room to swim around. There are SO many dead fish in the tanks that have been dead for a WHILE. I made the mistake of purchasing a fish from this location, and it literally lasted less than a week on a cycled tank with perfect levels. I also overheard an employee willingly getting ready to sell a chameleon to someone who obviously knew nothing about them. This location should not be permitted to sell animals until everyone is properly educated on adequate care.

  Staff was very helpful and the manager was amazing helping with the prescription food for my cat!!!!
