Unfortunately, she hasn’t been available recently, and the last two times I’ve had my dog groomed by Brianna A, the quality and service have been very disappointing. The first time, a few months ago, I was unexpectedly charged an extra $10 because she said she spent 15 minutes brushing out my dog’s tail. I’ve used this grooming salon for years and have never once been charged for something like that. I decided to give her another chance recently, but the second visit was even worse. My dog’s haircut was completely uneven — there are visible scissor marks throughout, his ears were cut short and uneven, and his paws were left with long, uneven pieces of hair. She told me she had to trim his ears short because they were knotted, but I had specifically told her beforehand that he wasn’t matted so she wouldn’t try to charge me extra again. On top of that, both times I gave her a $10 tip without even seeing my dog first, since the grooming dept makes you pay before you get your dog back. In hindsight, I ended up tipping for poor service both times. I’m not someone who usually writes reviews, especially negative ones, but after two bad experiences in a row, I felt it was necessary. I’ve always trusted this Petco location, but Brianna’s work and professionalism have been far below the standard I’ve come to expect. I hope management takes this feedback seriously — there needs to be more oversight and consistency in the grooming department.
