  Couldnt remember why i stopped using Petco grooming and just like that they reminded me...Brought my dog in for a shave and bath and he returned with burned swollen nipples...looks like they didnt know a dog has nipples. Train your employees better please

  Beware they have inexperienced groomers on staff who have no background working with puppies. Our puppy has a very sweet temperament, has been socialized (including grooming work at doggy daycare), and has successfully been groomed at another Petco location without issue. But here they let a person who only has one month of experience groom by themselves and then called standard puppy teething behavior "aggressive," despite us witnessing our puppy on the table standing perfectly still and being compliant. In addition, they overcharged us by more than $50 and also charged a puppy for the price of a full grown dog. I don't mind working with someone who is more green, but she seemed fearful of puppies (and people) and needs more supervision.

  This is a shout out to Peter from thr fish department..very friendly, extremely helpful..let us look at the axolotls before we bought the one we wanted..so 5 stars for Peter alone

  Had a not great experience on Sunday March 16th. We went to get a fish for a tank we got second hand for my son. I have grown up with fish as did my husband so we are familiar with water prep and temperatures. The older man who works in aquatics should learn how to talk to customers. He straight up refused to sell us a Pleco with a goldfish because of temperature differences (they both can withstand the same range the water at home is we tested it) which i get but the way he said it like he was chastising young children. I had to walk out of the store before I got upset in front of my son. The employee also kept walking away when we were there looking at fish. Didn't seem want to actually help but just be condescending. There are other plecos that can work with goldfish but he didn't seem interested in actually doing his job. We got one fish instead of the 3 we planned to buy. I think its funny how its company policy to not sell plecos with goldfish but ya'll sure love to put betta fish in little cups with no space which is cruel in itself. 2 stars only because the cashier was a sweetie and she was super sweet to my son. And because we love George.
