- TWtim williams2 days ago2.0I’ve been coming to this location for about a year now. In the beginning this was the best petco around. I drive about an hour and 15 mins to get there. I am an avid saltwater keeper and this is the only petco that has actual coral tanks and a fairly decent rotating selection. This last trip was horrible. Almost all the saltwater fish had ick and a large portion of the freshwater. The corals were terrible, most of them dying from one ailment or another and overall not cared for. I asked the gentleman some questions and he said “I have no clue, I’m not the saltwater guy” and when I asked him who was he told me to come another day. I actually talked to my wife on our way out about how terrible it was. Imagine you’re someone getting into an already extremely expensive and difficult hobby and your first experience buying fish they are sick and dying or the coral is infested with algae. I gave 2 stars because I remember how it used to be but it’s pretty sad recently.

You had one thing to do, have fruit flies for my dart frogs and the other store always drops the ball or has dead fruit flies only in stock. Petco never fails me! TYSM Petco!!
