  Thank you, PETCO, for always taking care of Ally. Since we travel often, she gets incredibly excited when we walk into any PETCO across the US. The perks are a bonus.

  I have always enjoyed the convenience of the dog wash station, until today. All of the sinks were dirty - covered with the hair of previous dogs. The shampoo dispensers were either empty or not working properly. I am not usually a complainer, but I felt that I needed to say something... I was very displeased with today's experience.

  From out of town, only went in for a carrier. Salesperson very helpful and nice. Bought exactly what I came in for. Not a huge store but seemed to have a large assortment.

  I just walked in today to kill some time and see if they had any thing my cat might want Shes so picky. It looked closed as I approached, dim lights and I didnt see anyone e but it was open. I saw some overpriced airplanes and pet themed succulents,gardening g stuff. weird merchandise, I thought. Cat section was in the back corner. I didnt see anything fat food that my cat normally likes. Lots of toys. A cat litter sand box ? Like looked like a place to play? It didnt make sense. Finally I took a look at the fish because I had been thinking about a beginners fish tank. I was really kinda appalled to see the goldfish. I guess many people just buy them to feed other animals? But the tanks were moth pretty gross with brown all over the bottom. No gravel or even stupid decorations. Just a ton of like fish poop on the bottom of 2 tanks. With a lil pile of dead fish, maybe 5 with 2 dying with them. It one tank. The other tank only had like 3 or 4 dead fish and they were all scattered about. Not in a pile. I get it. They're "just fish" and I didnt even look to see the price. But living creatures should be treated with at least a modicum of respect. And I wouldn't wanna buy feeder fish from a filthy poop tank with many dead fish. I remember the old saying" petco: where the pets go to die" This is the first time in over a dozen years that I went I to a petco and it will certainly ly be the last.
