- KLKalliyah Lowe6 days ago2.0TLDR: save your time and money, choose another location. When I needed to reschedule my appointment, the clerk/vet tech who answered the phone was really nice. Sadly this didn’t last because now, before my new appointment they call me and tell me they are canceling unless I confirm my appointment within the next 30 minutes….the appointment *I* made. I try to call them. The number they gave me to call tells me that I cannot reach them because the business is closed. I call five times because I need this appointment. No answer, no alternate number to call, no place on the website to click. Who runs a business like this? It’s okay though because after checking the reviews and it seems like I’ll be saving my pet a lot of grief and possible pain by not taking them here.

The doctors or clerk won't give you any advise or tell you to give your pet a trazadone(sleepy drug) prior to the appointment. The day you take your pet to hospital, they ask why the dog is not on sleepy drug. Couple times, the staff charged and gave me more than excessive amount than needed- sleepy druggs that expired within couple months, and I take my pet to the hospital only once a year. This installation is there only for a profit. There is one moment I clearly remember when the clerk gave me wrong directions to give sleepy pill. The next day when i took my dog to the vet, one of the assistant doctor starts to argue with me saying I gave wrong doses to my dog. Definitely thinking to switch my plan with different vet.

I do the Banfield Optimum Wellness plan and it feels far more bang for the buck. I have a six year old Papillon-King Charles mix weighing about 15 lbs. Li’l Ms. Dama loves coming here. Helps that it is in Petsmart that is associated with treats and good smells.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
