Prices were about average, maybe a bit cheaper on some items. The store was clean and smelled nice too, which is always a plus for a pet place. Overall, a good experience and I’d come back again.

Longmeadow location because it is so convenient for me and was always greeted and taken care of by the staff who kindly responded to my needs. Until one time I asked if I could exchange cans from a box of cat food I had bought because my cat did not like the flavors. The person at the cash register called the manager (a new face I had not seen before) to ask if it was OK. She refused to let me exchange the remainder content of the box for another flavor. I asked her what she thought I should do with an almost whole box of cat food that we could not use, and her comment was "you can donate it..." Of course, such careless, unfriendly comment made me stop shopping at that location, which is convenient for me and, although I am all for supporting local businesses, had no choice but to turn to Amazon. I am not fond of supporting big corporations and I rather shop in person, but unfortunately some local merchants, who do not understand good customer service, push us clients away and we end up keeping the giant merchant growing bigger.
