He falsely claimed that my dog was “matted,” but when I took my dog to the vet, I paid $150 only to have it confirmed that there was no matting at all. Jonathan even admitted in person that he isn’t educated or experienced in grooming curly-haired dogs which explains why he refused to groom my pup. Instead of being honest, he made an inaccurate claim that cost me time and money. To make matters worse, the managers at this location seemed completely confused about how to handle the situation and did nothing to make it right. If you have a curly-haired dog or expect professionalism, stay away from Petco Dedham.

- MDMadison DowdyOct 13, 20251.0They messed up my cats leukemia shots. They were supposed to do the blood test, wait for the results, then go ahead with the shot. Instead, after waiting 20 minutes they told me I was good to go, then on my way home they called me to say they forgot to do the shot, and that I’d have to request for it my third time coming back because they marked it as complete. I came back the other day and they said they couldn’t do it then and that I’d have to come back a 4th time instead of a third, they also have a time limit on the shot so I have to go back the day before I leave for an important trip and take work off. I also paid for the premium package that includes microchipping, they did not disclose that after the microchip was put in I’d have to pay an extra $200 to see anything. The nurse was also extremely rude the second time I came back. Do not come here! Super disorganized and unprofessional
