  Avoid the grooming salon at Petco at all costs. This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with any business. The staff is unbelievably rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in actually helping customers. What’s worse is the manager is just as bad—equally rude, unwilling to listen, and clearly not interested in resolving anything. My dog, Fluffy, has been going to the same groomer for a long time with ZERO issues. No aggression, no biting, nothing—yet suddenly I start receiving vague, contradictory messages claiming “he can bite” and blaming “scheduling issues.” If any of that were true, why was it never properly communicated before? It feels like they just made excuses instead of being honest. The communication itself is shockingly unprofessional. The tone of their messages is rude, passive-aggressive, and borderline hostile. Instead of treating customers with basic respect, they send abrupt texts telling you they’re “not daycare” and demanding immediate pickup, as if you’re inconveniencing them by being their customer. And instead of having a proper conversation like professionals, they abruptly drop you as a client with no real explanation. No accountability, no courtesy—just attitude. This place is disorganized, disrespectful, and clearly does not value its customers or their pets. I would never trust them again and strongly recommend finding literally ANY other groomer.

  I take my aged dog to the Petco at Burlington every month to have his nails cut and buffed down. The groomers know and greet him with kindness and do a great job very professionally and quickly (he is nervous!) I highly recommend them.

  This was dog's first nail trim at Petco - they did GREAT with her! She wasn't happy about it, but they got the service done quickly and with much reassurance and praise to her for how well she tolerated it.

  Nikko, my 27-week old puppy just had his first grooming outside. I wasn't sure how he would react as he gets nervous easily, especially during nail trimming. When I picked Nikko up, Leslie greeted me with a big smile and told me how well he did and how cute he was. Immediately I felt relief. The moment when Leslie brought Nikko out, my jaw just dropped. Nikko looked like a different dog, looking beautiful and cute!!! Not only did Leslie do an amazing job with the grooming, but also being so patient and kind to Nikko!! The rest of the staff were very down to earth as well ! I would have given a 10-stars review if I could !! 🥰
