- NLNguyet Anh LeApr 12, 20261.0I’m very disappointed with the service I received today. Earlier this week, I got a call saying my pet’s medication was ready for pickup, so I came in over the weekend to get it. After arriving and waiting for my turn, I was told the medication was not ready. I ended up waiting for an hour and a half while being given different explanations. First, I was told the doctor needed to fill the medication, then that the doctor needed to sign it. When I asked if the doctor was actually present, I was told yes—but even after another 30 minutes, nothing was ready. When I followed up again, I was told the doctor was busy with another patient, and later they mentioned issues with a new system making things difficult. I understand that delays and system issues can happen, but the frustrating part was being repeatedly told it would only take a few more minutes. Instead, it turned into a very long wait with no clear communication. It would have been much better if they had been honest upfront and asked me to come back later rather than asking me to wait and repeatedly giving inconsistent updates. This experience was frustrating and a poor use of my time.

Took our cat in for some odd behavior and peeing issues. they said everything was fine. good thing we took him to a local vet who showed us immediately that he developed diabetes and had critical liver issues. If we had listened to banfield, our cat would be dead. Update: Since posting this review, my wife suddenly received an "urgent" email about a charge for our ongoing plan. We never signed up for one. obviously. Wild the gall of these people.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
