Dr. hatch is a god send. He is the best vet I've ever been to after 10 years going to various vets with my pup (including back bay vet where I had a terrible experience). He CARES. He treats you and your pet with concern, respect and attention. The office is good about communication too, always following up on appointments and provide me helpful service with getting peaches prescription filled. I also had a teeth cleaning with Dr. Cheryl E Cheung here for my senior pup who has heart disease and I felt they were very caring and attentive to her needs. Also care is priced reasonably compared to back bay vet.

Terrible communication, condescending staff, charging for services not agreed to. Wrote to corporate instead, since the “practice manager” wanted to speak to me like I was a child.

After several trips to Banfield with my dog who started having seizures We discovered he had a brain tumor and had to put him to sleep. Banfield charged us an additional 2 months for the service plan of a pet that we had to put down. Thank you, Banfield for making a difficult time more difficult.

Very disappointing since they were bought out by Banfield. Very obviously being told to push unnecessary services by Banfield. Brought my dog in because he was limping and was told the vet couldn’t get a good look at his paw because he was pulling away so she recommends a $1,300 sedated X-ray to rule out a fracture. Asked her how confident she was it was a fracture before I pay that much and she couldn’t stand behind her diagnosis, just that it could be a fracture so we should X-ray to see. Brought him to a different vet who was able to look at his paw with me in the room and show me a crack in his nail exposing the quick. $400 for Banfield to give me a maybe answer and recommend a $1,300 X-ray; $100 for the other vet to give me an answer and show me the problem. Brought him in a few months ago for a possible ear infection, charged $350 to tell me it wasn’t an ear infection, but his eyes look red and they could do $185 monthly shots because he might have allergies. Go literally anywhere else. Editing to clarify: The doctor and staff are all knowledgeable and kind, it’s the company itself (Banfield) that is trash, insanely overpriced and want to maximize per patient spend over caring for your pet.
