The staff there was abusive and humiliating to me and my partner because we could not afford the almost $900. they were attempting to charge us for a simple cough for our dog. We explained that we were not there to treat our rescue dogs heart murmur after just spending over $300 at a vet the previous week. They were bullying me to pay almost 900. and when I refused all the extra treatments the woman at the front become irate and I had to get an assistant store manager to come and make them check me out so I could leave. On my only other visit to Vetco we were kept waiting almost 3 hours for the visit and were extremely rude after I complained of the excessive time. I asked the store manager to View the video recording of the incident. I’m a grandmother of five and have never been treated so abusively by people in a public setting. I’m filing a formal complaint today and asking that the recordings of their store be reviewed. Then on top of it all, they refused to honor their policy and charge me twice as much for the visit.
