    Petco is such a great pet store. I needed to stop for some supplements for my dog and of course I had to get her favorite treats ( jerky!). So convenient and they have very helpful staff.

    A few months ago, I began placing online orders for my dog. It was simple and efficient, and I loved the delivery option. I believe I placed three orders that I chose "same day delivery", and my orders were delivered in a timely manner. However, I placed a large order about two weeks ago, and I received an email confirmation along with my order number. The email stated that my order would be delivered that evening. After 4 days, I called our local Pet Smart store, and the associate told me that she did not have an order under my name and said that since it was placed online, she could not "see" or pull up my order number. She suggested that I call customer service for help. I did so and was told that my order was "stuck" and there was no way to push it through. He canceled the order for me and said to place a new order. Once again, I received a confirmation email and order number. Once again, I did not receive my delivery. After 3 days I called the store again and was told the same thing, they couldn't see my delivery. I decided to go to the store, and I spoke with a manager named, Ryan. He looked up my order number, walked over to the shelf, and it was sitting right there. He had no idea why two of the sales associates told me they couldn't find my order. I have a Petco a few blocks from my house, but I chose Pet Smart because they have better choices for my elderly dog. How can I assure that my order will be received and actually delivered if I place an online order instead? Thank you in advance for your assistance. Nancy Lemoine Ellis

    I selected curbside pickup, I entered the “on my way” link, and then entered the “I’m here” link upon arriving. After waiting approximately five minutes, I went into the store. I found a representative at the counter, and the representative was not assisting anyone, but simply standing behind the counter. I explained how I had a curbside pickup I wished to obtain. The representative expressed that the store was low on staff, and was thus, unable to accommodate any curbside pickup orders. The representative stated that anytime I am awaiting a curbside pickup order, if several minutes pass and no representative comes out with my order, I must simply enter the store and get the order myself. To my way of thinking, it would have taken the representative less than two minutes to bring my order outside, it just does not make sense that a representative strives to come up with reasons why they CANNOT do something, whereas they should be looking at the situation in order to discover ways the CAN do something!
