My fur baby Cocoa and I love Dr. Rodriguez. We’ve been coming to this Banfield location for about a month now and got the preventative plan, which has saved me a lot of money compared to if I would’ve rejected it, considering how many times we’ve been here for visits and vaccines. While other services are out of pocket, it helps not having to pay an additional $65 per visit. Dr. Rodriguez is very attentive and really cares about the well being of my dog. The staff is very accommodating with appointments and walk-ins. Drop offs are a breeze and Cocoa loves the attention she gets from the staff. However, services are a bit higher than other vet offices. I got a quote for a spay and it was about $350, versus the $90 quote I got from an office in Port Allen. So it sucks I have to bring my dog elsewhere for that service. Services like anal gland expression and nail clippings are also a bit high here I’ve noticed after seeing prices at other places. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t trust any other doctor to care for my dog medically. Shoutout to Dr. Rodriguez and his staff!
