  Valentine’s Day will forever be a day I am grateful for now, let me explain……. I cannot say enough good things about Banfield Pet Hospital and the incredible people who work there. Shelby, Dr. Lamb, and the entire staff quite literally saved my son’s cat Sebastian’s life, and I will be forever grateful. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with compassion, patience, and genuine care. This was a terrifying situation for our family, and they never once made us feel rushed, dismissed, or judged. Shelby went above and beyond to make sure we understood what was happening and helped guide us through every step with kindness and reassurance. Dr. Lamb was outstanding — knowledgeable, calm, and clearly someone who truly loves animals. You can tell this is not “just a job” for her. They treated Sebastian as if he were their own, and that meant everything to us. What touched me most was how willing they were to work with me financially so that we could afford to save Sebastian’s life. That kind of understanding and humanity is rare, and it speaks volumes about the character of this team. They didn’t just see a bill — they saw a family desperate to save a beloved pet. Because of them, my son still has his cat Sebastian, Gigi and papaw still have our fur grand and our hearts are full of gratitude. If you are looking for a veterinary team that is compassionate, honest, skilled, and truly cares about both pets and people, I cannot recommend Banfield enough. They are angels in scrubs, and we will never forget what they did for our family 🐾🐾🩷

  The staff was very rude. We took our puppy here for her messed up paw. We were charged $450 just for them to clean and bandage her paw. Our puppy came out whining and crying the entire time. We have now since took her to a different location and she’s been perfect there. No crying. No whining. No screaming. And they are doing the exact same thing, cleaning and bandaging her paw. Not to mention it being WAY cheaper and they are WAY nicer and care about your pets health. I do not want to accuse anyone of anything, but she did not act like she was treated well at Banfield. We also took her back to PetSmart a few days later (which Banfeild is located in) for some toys and treats, she was shaking the entire time like she was scared we were taking her back to that vet. Once again I don’t want to accuse anyone of anything but she does not act like this at the other location we started taking her.

  We arrived on time for an appointment and were promptly in-processed by the front desk. From there, we sat in a room for 45 minutes and eventually just decided to leave without treatment. A VA stopped in about 25 minutes into our wait, but asked minimal questions we had already answered for the front desk and left the room after about four minutes. There was no communication until we notified them that we were leaving, when we were told they're "running behind today". When we spoke with the staff they were nice enough, but the experience was unorganized and unprofessional - huge waste of time.

  I have to say, Dr. Toro is the reason I continue bringing my pet to Banfield. He is, without question, the best veterinarian I’ve ever had. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuine passion for animal care shine through in every visit. What makes Dr. Toro stand out is his thoughtful, science-based approach to medicine. He takes the time to explain what’s going on, how the body works, what might not be working, and what steps we’re going to take together. His explanations are clear, educational, and never rushed. Unlike many experiences where you feel pressured into unnecessary tests or treatments, Dr. Toro focuses on what truly matters for your pet’s health. His recommendations are practical, data-driven, and always in the best interest of his patients. Dr. Toro embodies everything a great veterinarian should be: compassionate, patient, ethical, and scientifically minded. I would follow Dr. Toro anywhere, and I hope Banfield recognizes how valuable he is to both his patients and their humans. Phoebe and I are very grateful for the care!
