Took my dog in for problem with his knee… Was told that it was likely some kind of tear with the TCL, Similar to ACL for human, Was told they would do x-rays and look for that and arthritis possibly… They ended up having to sedate my dog to do x-rays they said because he might bite them, They did eight x-rays of his knees and hips and spine and also did blood work. That is done when an animal needs surgery. When I got there to pick up my dog and they showed me all the money I owed them, 800 and something dollars I was ecstatic. My dog was not there for surgery therefore did not need blood work for surgery. My dog was there for a knee problem and when I went to another vet because Dr. Bittle could not diagnose properly, it was told to me that you cannot even see a TCL tear on an x-ray in the first place… But yet he told me I needed an x-rays to see if TCL tear was the problem. My dog ended up having an extensive surgery at another veterinary hospital. I will never return to Town & Country veterinary Hospital. They charged me for things that didn’t even need to be done to my dog. And misdiagnosed my dog. And took advantage of me, loving my dog.

They have been our vet since we moved here 2 years ago, and I love them. They have treated our dogs very well and are always upfront with me about any costs. They recently treated one of our furbabies for a nasty ear infection and were wonderful with her and explaining how to care for it and get her feeling well again. Though I know their prices are a little higher, I'm willing to pay it for such amazing care.
