  I don’t have the words to accurately describe my disappointment after having both of my dogs groomed at this location yesterday. I spoke specifically with the groomer about my dog’s haircut and showed example pictures. Even with all of that, my dog looks like a kindergartener cut her hair with blunt scissors. I paid my bill….and even tipped….incredulously, but the more I think about it, and the more I look at my dog’s haircut, the more angry I feel.

  Seriously wish I could give this Vetco clinic negative stars. I booked an appointment to get my cat updated on vaccines. The person checking me in was friendly and helpful. The 3 people in the actual clinic room were clearly annoyed that they were there. When they came to get my cat, I voiced that she was really anxious and didn’t do well with strangers. They wouldn’t allow me to go into the room with her but I could see everything going on. She was in the room for maybe 2 minutes before they scooped her back in her carrier, brought her to me and said we can’t help her because she’s too anxious. When getting her out of the carrier, I watched as one of the clinic staff pulled her BY HER BACK LEGS to get her out of the carrier. My cat was very anxious and was running around the room, she was clearly stressed. But, there was ZERO, absolutely ZERO Compassion from the clinic staff members. There was no waiting a sec to let her calm down, there was no asking for my assistance as the owner, nothing. I guess they just expect animals to come in, sit there, sit still and take whatever they’re doing to them???? I was told I could take her to petco in jeffersonville Indiana because they’re a full service clinic and can lock their doors? Meanwhile this location had shut doors that she couldn’t escape from. I’m heartbroken for the way my pet was treated. I am disappointed that there was literally no communication from the staff on how we could help her through this appointment. I expected her to have anxiety but I expected more compassion from the staff members than I received. We all have bad days, you shouldn’t take it out on your customers. If your job is that bad, consider a career change.
