I took my 14-year old yorkie because she had an eye infection. My wife and I spent about an hour inside a small room waiting for the vet. A kind and helpful assistant showed up, she took our dog away, and brought it back indicating that we could go home. When I asked about the doctor, and my dog's eye infection, the assitant told me that the doctor told her that I should come back when her eye is "really nasty." Needless to say, it was the worst experience I have ever had with a veterinarian, ever! Dr. Alyssa Nicole Becker (the one who signed the rabbis shot) never showed her face to us, to even say hi, how are you, what can I do for you. They took our dog out of sight, and the "doctor" never had the decency talk to us. Since I did not sign up for pricey services, I suppose we were not good enough for her to see us. It was an denigrating, unacceptable, unexcusable, and certainly unethical behavior. It is a shame for Banfield Pet Hospital to allow such poor treatment to its clients.
