Audubon Animal Medical Center is proud to serve the Louisville KY area for everything pet related.
Audubon Animal Hospital has been caring for cherished pets in the Louisville area for more than 60 years. The original hospital was opened in 1959 on Crittenden Drive by Dr. James R. Grace (known by his long-term clients as Dr. Bob). Dr. Bob grew up in the Schnitzelberg-area, attended St. Xavier High School, University of Louisville, and University of Kentucky, and received his Veterinary degree from Auburn University. He wanted to work in the neighborhood he grew up in, and that is where the practice began.

My former cat Bear (he was re homed years ago & I was never given that info. He belonged to my daughter who technically owned him & she trusted someone to get the info of who he was going. Lesson learned) was brought in by a police officer today because he had been hit. Since my name & phone number was still linked to the microchip they called me. My heart broke. I called & spoke to Peggy who was very nice & helped me with what I needed to do. Im unable to take him back, so I’m hoping if he makes it through that he’s able to go to a loving home. Because he’s a sweet boy.

Absolutely adore this place.
My boyfriend and I, are young (25y/o). We're trying to establish good behavior for our kittens, since it is their first time at this specific Clinic. Mind you, the Brown Tabby is very timid. But she loved the staff as well.
It was nothing but, wonderful and affordable.
Definitely recommend the Audubon Clinic.
Super clean, smells lovely, get greeted at the door. 10/10

I have been using Audubon for quite a few years. The doctors are very knowledgeable, patient, gentle and kind. I have had dogs for 40+ years and have used Audubon since it opened. All my dogs have lived very long healthy lives. The staff is courteous, friendly, and honest. My grown children used them until they purchased their own homes and wanted to find a vet closer to their new zip codes. Audubon Animal Medical Center and it's sister site, Cherokee, are some of the finest veterinarian offices around.
