I appreciate all the staff and Dr. Holaday for being very thorough on our recent visit with my Abigail that I adopted one year ago. Abigail is off to a great start of having a beautiful life with me.

These guys are really good at making people feel okay about having to euthanize their animals (which is important as that IS often the best possible choice to reduce needless suffering), but they also seem to think that's their only job other than well-pet check-ups, spaying/neutering, and blowing off your concerns. They haven't exhibited any competence for anything beyond the basics. They biopsied by animal's tumor incorrectly such that the cancer seeded other areas of his body AND the sample wasn't even adequate to confirm a diagnosis. They say there's nothing they can do but palliative care. But their idea of palliative is just a steroid shot once every 4 weeks. They say you they can't try other things because it could cause long-term health issues.... The animal is dying, dude. She's not going to have long-term health issues. Meanwhile, they tell my friend that her dog is totally fine and healthy... and he's dying the next week from a chronic health issue these guys missed. I don't know what the standard of care is like in veterinary medicine, but I hope this isn't it. If so, what are people doing during all those years of vet school? I get that many people can't afford or don't want to pay spend a lot of money on pet healthcare... but veterinary providers should at least be aware of and explaining options. This place was HIGHLY recommended to me and I am absolutely not impressed.

I had to bring my cat, Tubby, into the clinic as he was extremely not himself. Dr. Hancock was absolutely amazing as well as the rest of the staff. Dr. Hancock was able to draw his blood very quickly and it seemed almost painlessly for my fur baby. The technician, Kathryn, handled him in a way that made him feel comfortable and allowed her to provide him fluids and injections. He was dehydrated, running a fever, and diagnosed with a bacterial infection. Dr. Hancock reviewed the blood work with me and was very reassuring when it came to the test results. I definitely recommend this clinic for all of your fur baby needs. The cost was reasonable and did not make me feel as if I were breaking the bank. Absolutely worth it!!!

Knowledgeable, accommodating vets. My cat is skittish and they allowed me to wait in my car when there was an ill-trained dog in the lobby, allowed me to accompany him during his entire exam and nail trim, and asked before doing anything potentially distressing. I will absolutely be coming back.

My friend who was ill asked me to take her 8 lbs fur Baby. To this Vet office. Twice once for ears with staff no Doc needed. then Doc Apt Next day. I must say how impressed I was with the staff 1st day little Cody went right with the nurse.
Next Day. Was just as nice . Got there was late . And apologized. They were fine I sat down then called back for doctor's apt. Sat in a small clean room. 2 Ladies came in got Cody and checked him. They were very thorough. Extremely nice explained everything to me so I can share with my friend. This was a very very nice veterinarians office I was impressed with the veterinarian and her assistant. This is an awesome office very clean. To I even suggested that I might even bring my pets there as I have taken my pets for over 25 years to a different veterinarian whom I love, yet now is on the other side of town. So l have options , that's how much I liked this Vet Clinic. So if you're thinking of a new vet and you're close to Richmond road this is a great one for you. Hope this helps your decision if you were looking for one.
