Our little dog started shaking and panting late on a Saturday night (around 1am). We didn’t know what to do, so we googled emergency vets near me (Owensboro). We called the emergency number we found, but they told us nothing was available and our options were Louisville or Bowling Green. We called Bowling Green Emergency Vet Clinic and left right away. They were very nice and helpful. Got x-rays and blood work done and found out that our little guy had apparently hurt his back jumping off our bed. We were relieved that nothing was broken or seriously wrong otherwise. They sent us home with enough pain meds for a week and had us keep him kenneled at night and when we weren’t home to keep him from jumping around. It was a long night for us, but we were very grateful to have this place to go to!

Brought our 3 month old kitten here for possible antifreeze ingestion. We had another cat pass away about 4 months before and we didn't want to risk losing another kitty . We bring her here thinking this is a major emergency, we had to wait in line after calling for about 10 minutes behind a very healthy puppy until finally we spoke up and told them we had their 450$ for an emergency visit and she took our money, made sure it went through, and then had someone come grab our kitten . I initially thought they were going to do everything they can within the 450$ I gave them but instead came back out after about 30 minutes and said it was going to be about 730$ for tests and a antifreeze test and other small unnecessary things. After about 4 hours with everyone disappearing in the back of the building we finally get pulled to a small room and the "vet" comes in and says the tests were negative and everything looks fine except for 3 or 4 "liver enzymes" that apparently "weren't a problem". She then proceeded to ask if our kitten was exposed to marijuana? Not sure about that but 730$ later and we were sent home with a lethargic and very drowsy kitten and was told to "watch her". Not sure how this clinic works but there was no spot on her anywhere from where they drew any blood and the vet said she was just walking around the room and crawling on her and seemed fine. We eventually asked to see our kitten and she was still very weak and bobbin gher head up and down clearly very unwell . The "vet" then said she just now noticed the head bobbing that she didn't "catch" in her initial examination. This whole place is very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all . The even made a guy wait with his deceased cat in a carrier for an hour while everyone was gathered in the back and he had to leave with his cat . Do not bring any of your pets here . All they want is your money !!!!!

I brought my cat in… he was open mouth breathing, had a strider and was coughing a couple times an hour, they told me that his breathing wasn’t much of a concern because his vitals were basically good with a low grade fever. Then they gave me a list of everything they thought he needed and wanted me to sign… i felt like they were less concerned about the health and wellbeing of my pet than the money they desired to line their pockets. 5 minutes after we left the building with a couple injections on board, my cat puked which he had not done at all. I honestly don’t even know if he was given the injections, or assessed… every time they said they would do something, they would take my Kitty out and then would return stating it was done. I honestly expected more personal, professional, and compassionate care. I will never return to this emergency facility. I have worked in the medical field for 25 years and this establishment and the provider seemed sketchy. I will definitely drive to Nashville if I have a pet emergency in the future.

My name is Sam and wife's name is Tammy. Yesterday October 21st 2025 around 7:35 pm we took our 17 yr old cat ""WINSTON "" TO THE Bowling Green vet emergency clinic on Campbell Lane because he would not eat or drink, withing minutes of the vets and nurses at this clinic they promptly found the exact nature of the issues and immediately brought to our attention the problem, because our senior cat is so old he had a abscess/alcer on the lower part of his teeth between his cheek and gum lining, they handed this issue with much care and love and showed much compassion and put together a treatment plan that worked for all of us and it's only been 1 day and our beloved kitty is doing much better. THANK YOU TO WHO WORKED SO HARD TO FIND THIS PROBLEM AND HELP OUR LOVING FRIEND..... WE LOVE YOU ALL FOR ALL YOU DO. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EMERGENCY CLINIC TO ANYONE WHO LOVES AND CARES ABOUT THEIR FURY FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS AS WE DO. """ BONUS""" THIS EVENING A NURSE WHOSE NAME IS ""SAM"" CALLED TO FIND OUT HOW OUR WINSTON WAS DOING AND THAT SPEAKS HIGHLY OF THIS CLINIC BECAUSE THEY ARE BUSY AND STILL HANDLE THEIR BUSINESS PROMPTLY AND WITH DIGNITY. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AT THIS CLINIC FOR ALL YOU DO. RESPECTFULLY SAM N TAMMY WARREN. WINSTON IS EATING AND RESPONDING WELL TO HIS TREATMENT PLAN AND WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL.
