Now Buford pays more attention to me on walks and around the house and we can finally have guests over without problems! I’m coming back for more public sessions with Buford over the next year!

However he was fear biting, marking, and chasing/catching my 18yo cat for fun. I am so glad we found Precision Dog Training. Zeke is a valued member of the family now. They teach using positive reinforcement, never any loud voices or harsh corrections. Zeke is extremely well-behaved now, but he still has his bright energy. He is so much fun to play with! They guided us to the option of private lessons and introduced us to our instructor, Emily. I cannot even believe the progress our dog made in just 10 weeks in this program. She is so much less reactive, more confident, and less anxious. Emily is basically the single best person for the job when it came to training our dog. She understood us and met us where we were with calm confidence while being human along the way. By the half way mark, Piper was looking forward to going to “school” to see Emily. We so appreciated the dedication, clear instructions, and patience she provided! We also really appreciated the facility’s commitment to safety and ensuring all pet owners and dogs were safe while still providing great training. I cannot recommend precision enough and we plan to return in the future.
- MWMartha WalkerDec 20, 20255.0Adopted Maverick, a surrender, at local shelter. Offered as a lab mix, under 2 years old, 78 lbs. Sweetest dog but completely unhinged and out of control from surrender experience and nothing done for dog as a puppy. He couldn't even walk on a leash. I was hesitant to board him for training. Afraid he would think he'd been surrendered again and completely fall apart. When vet said this dog is lab/Great Pyrenees and he weighed in at 91 lbs we enrolled in 2 weeks boarded training. I owed this sweet boy a chance and he got it at Precision Dog Training. Trainer Emily mixed the right amount of tough love and relentless discipline to ensure Maverick could heel, walk delightfully 2 miles a day now on a leash, stay in place, sit and stay in two weeks. He loved play time to make dog friends, a comfort to know Maverick was good with large and small dogs he met. To be sure, Maverick will still test you. But Precision helps owners develop better strategies to interact with their dog. I will go the distance with this sweet boy and love every mile we travel together.
