Banfield is a place you establish care and have service for animals to be treated for minor or severe issues, yet they are either short staffed or people don't want to communicate correctly. Keep in mind Banfield is a hospital/ Vet office just like we as humans go to. A little annoyed that if a patient came to the doctors or hospital I work at and procedure was at a time schedule, and a doctor had an emergency or called in sick you don't just cancel a patient's appointment. That's the downfall and poor communication, trust to have with Banfield Olathe. Don't have an animal ready for an appointment and pre-op and for owner to be called due to a doctor canceling last minute. It's called back up for a reason! This office also needs a calculator to double check estimates and also check your charges or monthly payment taken out because they take money for things that don't happen. Like ex. Medication for the anesthesia that wasn't even given to my dog since Doctor left and he had to be without his procedure or fasting for extended time. ANNOYING

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
