  I just wanted to write a review to recognize the staff who was working today. I moved from Portland and was actually taking my dog to a Banfield out there. I first took my dog to the Tiffany Springs location, but I relocated to the Crossroads area so this location was closer to me. Out of all the Banfield clinics I have been to this one is the best. Literally every interaction was so pleasant from check in to picking my girl up. I just actually felt compassion, warmth and respect. I honestly didn’t have high hopes for Banfield clinics out in KC because of them being attached to Petsmart out here (they’re not all like that in Portland). I honestly felt a little bit like I was bothering the staff at the Tiffany Springs location , but I never felt that way once here. I was so blown away by the treatment Peach and I received. I’m glad I took a chance on bringing her here. So pleased with the service received today!!

  I want to give a huge thank-you to Robert at the front desk at Banfield Pet Hospital! He went above and beyond to help me when my puppy was suffering from an ear infection. I was feeling so sad and worried because I couldn’t find any vet clinic that could see my dog the same day or fit with my work schedule, and affordability was also a concern. While I was speaking with the front desk about my situation, Robert overheard and immediately took action. He started calling different Banfield locations to see if anyone could take us in right away. A few minutes later, he came back and told me not to worry — he had found a location in Shawnee Mission that was expecting us and ready to help my puppy get treated. His kindness, initiative, and compassion truly made a difference that day. Thank you, Robert, for caring so much and for going the extra mile to make sure my dog got the care he needed!

  I have had Excellent Vet care with Dr. Susan Kivett. The full staff is wonderful in every way!! Excellent customer service! They take their time to make sure that I am happy and satisfied with the services!!! My Yorkie was neutered yesterday. Michelle and Blythe did not rush to get me out the door even though I picked him up at closing time. Michelle took her time to go over every post-op question I had.. Both of them made sure I had the correct meds to take home. I am physically disabled and Blythe took him to the car and spent another 20 minutes Of her personal time to make sure I was in the car and he was secure and she assisted me with answering last minute questions. She was so daring and a true asset to the Banfield Corporation…. I have never had any negative experiences with anyone at the Banfield Hospital Merriam location. I have always had my fur babies on the Wellness Plans and I have saved so much money $$. I currently have 2 on the plan now.

  Our dog received excellent care during a recent surgery performed by Dr. Ellis and the complete staff at Banfield-Merriam! Two years ago we signed up for the well care program and have found it to be helpful and cost saving. Would highly recommend Banfield Pet Hospital-Merriam! They are all very kind , compassionate and professional!
