  I end up going here for frozen food for my fish, and occasionally supplies that I can't get online. Let me start by saying the employees are kind, friendly, and try to make sure your animals are well cared for. With that said, I have literally seen every single chain pet store not give adequate care to their animals. This is not employee or even management's fault, it's corporate. I purchased a baby oranda from this location and brought it back home, quarantined, and medicated. My water parameters were great, I had two other goldfish in my 60 gallon tank. Both of these goldfish were in great health and I'd had them for a little over a year. I added in the baby oranda to the tank, not noticing the small tears in his fins that were the first sign of fin rot. It's a week later now, and I've lost my lovely baby moor that was just about to turn a year old. Despite medicating immediately when I noticed symptoms, I've lost one of my goldies, and my ranchu is close behind. These fish have traveled across the country with me and were literally my children. I'm heartbroken. My fish that have a 20 year life span had it shortened down to a year, all because one company decided money was more important than selling healthy animals. Don't support Petco or Petsmart.

  I would give zero stars if I could but it made me pick one! Do not look at the labels for their pets! They have no clue what sex any animal is and will not own up to the fact that they are responsible or even verify that what they have on their labeled available animals for adoption are True to what they say they are! If you want to get the same sex they will likely give you a male and female… Then not understand why you are upset that you bought something that they falsely advertised in their store! Not costing consumers more than what would have been needed to get animals neutered to prevent more babies from being conceived after the false advertisement of said pet…
