- MBMichelle BrockFeb 9, 20245.0My Saint Bernard, Penny, was severely matted and in dire need of a grooming. We had such a hard time finding any groomer that was willing to handle a dog of that size. But Virginia at petco came to the rescue! Now our Penny girl is clean and fluffy and oh so happy!! Will definitely return!

One of my dog’s had their nails (not all) cut way too short where I could tell they hit the quick. I cut her nails regularly and she has never been very difficult but I can see now why they had a hard time because she had clearly been hurt and probably didn’t trust them after that. Neither of my dogs seem to have been brushed at all. They were shaking off hair all day and shedding loads every time we pet them. This was just my experience, but I will not be going back here for grooming. Supplies, yes but grooming I will find somewhere else.
