Discussed the type of grooming I wanted for my 2 toy poodles, brough pictures of their prior cuts, the groomer even picked out a cut from the manual. The groomer also stated she showed poodles and only grooms according to the customer's request. First time grooming appt. went well - good cuts and service. The second time, 6 wk later, the same groomer SHAVED both dogs to the skin and even cut the thigh on one. Shavers' rash on them also. They looked pathetic. When I voiced my displeasure and stated, "we talked about the cut, etc.", the groomer agreed but offered no reason other than she "forgot what cut they were to get". She offered no reason for the shave (they are never matted) and did not apologize. She just turned around and walked away into the back room and shut the door. Totally unacceptable. I was concerned about the bleeding cut so I went across the aisle to the Vet on site and they addressed the wound. I also asked for a full refund on both dogs. I don’t want incompetent, inconsiderate people grooming/caring for my dogs.
