  I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this Petco. My dog was refused a simple bath due to one isolated mat on his ankle. The groomer, Jeffrey, examined him and acknowledged that everything else looked fine, but stated he could not proceed because of that one mat on his ankle because he was 'not trained to cut hair' and therefore would need to reschedule us. The refusal felt unnecessarily rigid and impractical, especially given how minor the issue was. This is the second time I've been assigned to this groomer, and both times he appeared disengaged and unenthusiastic about his work. I ended up going to PetSmart afterward, where the staff was professional, understanding, and able to care for my dog the same day without any issues. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location based on my experience.

  I wish Danielle Jones was still working there. She was the best groomer. The others are ok, but Danielle has a way with dogs. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be taking my dogs to Petco for grooming because of that reason.

  I brought my dog here for his first grooming appointment and I wanted EVERYTHING shaved off to start fresh. When I mention “first time” the lady already showed signs of not wanting to… we got past that ok but you would seem to think the groomer would let the dog sniff your hand or talk to him before anything , but she just dove right in and started man handling his fur to see what was going on. I wasn’t asking for her to perform a miracle & restore his fur I wanted her to take it all off. Anyways my dog didn’t like how she was handling her and started growling and she proceeded to continue giving excuses and told me not to go far cause she just might call me to come pick him up.(she prob would’ve came up w something before I left the lot anyways) As I was signing the forms to leave him she tried to pick him up and he already didn’t like her and he growled and barked (has never bitten anyone before till this day) and she let him FALL on the floor (1 year old Maltese)and literally SWIPED the paper OUT from under the pen I was using and said NOPE NOT DOING IT. She had just gotten back from lunch or was getting ready to idk her situation but from the beginning you could just tell she didn’t want to service me or work that day. I guess my dog felt it too and it showed. The job she made seemed IMPOSSIBLE was done by both my husband and I without any animal grooming experience and we shaved everything off without a problem. Horrible first time experience but at least I was able to learn how to groom my dog myself from it. As a stranger you don't just go to someone’s dog in the park and man handle their body that’s weird and alarming since that’s their occupation. Next time maybe keep in mind that it’s a puppys first time being groomed into consideration & treat them like it. Maybe it’s a good thing it didn’t work out she didn’t make me feel comfortable to leave my dog there anyways
