Would look elsewhere for daycare / boarding needs. Usually go to Beverly’s and have had nothing but great experiences, however, they were closed and chose DogDayz as an alternative. When picking my up dog Zeus the next morning he was limping and just overall flustered. Come to find out later his paw pad was torn / peeled back which was causing discomfort every time he took a step. Obviously was not made aware of this by the staff here who apparently keep such a close eye on your pet while there.. lol. Called, asked for details as to why my dog was returned to me limping, the lady at the front didn’t know how to work the computer to look at notes. Next person says “yeah we don’t know what to tell you, accidents happen I guess” … what accident? Why was I not made aware upon pickup? Communication severely lacking and professionalism nonexistent.
Not that cost matters as I would pay any amount to ensure my dog is cared for in a safe environment (which is clearly not here): but paid $65 to have my dog returned limping when I typically pay $45 at Beverly’s and have a worn out dog smiling ear to ear, happy and healthy.
Level of care, cost, and otherwise this place needs a revamp. Take your animal somewhere else

My dog had been attending day camp at DogDayz for over a year. Usually once a week. Never really had any major issues with them but there were a few times I picked him up and noticed that he smelled like urine, but I get it, he’s playing with dogs. The first 7 months were great. I always asked when I picked him up how his behavior was and aside from an occasional off day they always said he was a good boy or that they love him and used him as one of the dogs they introduce to new campers. I had also been called or asked at drop offs if they can use him for the grooming academy because he is a great dog for them to practice on. Recently I tried to schedule him with the grooming academy and was told they could at least bathe him and clip his nails the next day, I decided I’d bring him in an extra day that week and canceled the grooming appointment I had for him somewhere else. Upon drop off the next morning I was asked if I was talked to regarding Ted’s grooming. She told me he wasn’t allowed in grooming because of his behavior. This was a bit of a shock considering what had happened previously. The employee said she would find out and call me and update me. All day went by without a phone call. When I went to pick him up I asked about it and was met with no solid answers. As a dog owner who has never had complaints about my dog at several different groomers this makes me very worried. I should be told if my dog has issues so I can figure out if there is something wrong with him or if I need to let future groomers know. With the lack of communication it makes me uncomfortable bringing my dog there anymore. There has been lots of turnover regarding employees in the past few months and now I get zero feedback when asked about his behavior or how his day was. I worry that things are slipping through the cracks.

The staff here is friendly and professional. They take good care of my pet, respond to phone calls and emails in a timely fashion and have very reasonable pricing. I’ll use them again for sure.

i highly do not recommend this place. they were going to make us pay for things that they couldn’t commit to. I boarded my dog for 6 days. never gave us updates and when they did, they didn’t even get my dogs gender correct. they were also annoyed when i called for the updates. which probably means they didn’t take care of him enough and claimed that he was getting “lots of snuggles”. they also failed to mention that the groomer doesn’t come in till Sundays. overall disappointing and I was scared for my dog all week. do not recommend unless you don’t care for your dog. i will not be returning to this place and do not understand why it has a rating higher than 2.0. if i could’ve gotten my dog out earlier i would’ve.
