  Dr. Raikos and her team at this location are absolutely wonderful. The phones are usually answered, but even when they aren't, I get a call back the next day or an email. Dr. Raikos does not make me feel rushed or ignorant despite my very inferior canine expertise, and she's genuinely happy to work with my pup's separation anxiety in the room. The team has never charged a surprise cost or fee, and they talk through everything and ask for permission to charge first and explain what and why they make recommendations. Everything from ear cleaner to lab tests and medication. My pup has had a wellness plan going on 3 years since we moved near Indy, and the unlimited office visits are incredibly helpful, both for positive reinforcement of painless (no vaccines) and non-scary (dental cleanings where I have to drop her off and she goes under anesthesia make my pup in a brief bout of depression for my betrayal) visits for simple checks like ear infections or nail issues or allergy questions, etc. My pup tends to show fear by trying to hide or turning into a stubborn anchor and refusing to move. She's never been aggressive, even when having a bug sting or her ACL tear investigated and palpated. This location has never manhandled her or been aggressive towards her either, utilizing positive reinforcement and gentleness even when they need to be firm. At my pups first vet office (not in Indy), vet was kind to her and a great vet, but the associations were so strong from getting spayed and were consistently negative with follow up vaccines, she was terrified from the parking lot for every visit for over a year at a great vet. The fact that my pup walks into the Banfield lobby excited to greet the people in office, and is willing to walk nicely into the private treatment rooms shows how much this particular team has been respectful and patient of my pup and of me coming in with anxiety, and how kind they are to her even on vaccine days. And it started on our first visit and had always been consistent at this location which is why it only took a few months for me to begin a wellness plan with them!! Could not recommend Dr. Raikos and her team more. And, in the chance that I haven't been able to schedule with my favorite vet at this location, I am still able to meet other veterinarians with Banfield at other locations and have had good experiences, but still, I drive farther to specifically see Dr. Raikos and her team(:

  This location is nice. However, the doctors dont show a lot of compassion for the animals overall health. They act as if there are no signs, then the animal is fine. I don't agree with that. I lost a cat due to their incorrect care. Banfield also doesn't care if your pet dies. You still have to pay your plan. I hate this company.

  We have been going here since my dog was a small puppy. The membership plans have been worth it for our family, but I must say we have been fortunate to have dogs without any chronic illnesses or extra needs. I cant speak for any of those situations.

  I will never bring any of my pets to this so called animal care facility. They will take your money and not do the proper treatment care for your pet. My dog was sent home with liquids under her skin and nausea medication to treat an infection that killed her by the next day. She is now being euthized by Brookville animal hospital that found the infection that Banfield said she didn't have. Why does animal care cost more than human care this is not acceptable because these animals should be treated just as they are humans. We pay for animal insurance that b Banfield wouldn't even accept so where is the decency in trying to save a rescue if the vet you take them too won't even help.plwase explain to me why you let my daughter die you should be ashamed of yourselves for the work you should have been properly trained for.
