- OBOscar B5 days ago1.0I have been bringing my child to hydrant for grooming services, but after October 17th I've searched elsewhere. Here is a quick rundown on my experience. I always wait in the parking lot when my child gets groomed, and staff knows this as well because of how my baby reacts to cages(she is a rescue, was involved in a fire, has severe Anxiety to certin things), as well they do not know how to put on some collars. Which is understandable. I told them multiple times DO NOT PUT BACK ON THE PRONG COLLAR IF THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO SO. So back with my experience. The guy at the front desk called me and said "hey she is almost ready." So as I enter my child is panicking because they put her in a cage, and the collar is on wrong(3rd time). They hand me her poop bag holder all chewed up saying yeah she ate it up because she was in a cage. That really had me upset. AGGRAVATES ME JUST WRITING THIS!!!!!! It's like dropping off my kids at daycare and saying they are allergic to peanuts and they still give my kids peanuts. YOU get what im saying. Then they never even compensate nothing from this situation. Not even a sorry. This was the third time something happened. AFTER THIS SITUATION I CANT TRUST THEM NO MORE.

The staff was very friendly, kind, and attentive. The store itself was clean and organized. Grooming prices everywhere have gone up, but I felt their prices were competitive/compareable to other grooming locations in town that I've called. The grooming session was done in just over an hour, and they called to let me know she was ready for pickup. I highly recommend!

However, the groomer, Raquel, informed me that he was exhibiting aggressive behavior, which is why they were unable to groom his face. I’m not upset about the grooming itself — I’m upset because when Kirby was returned to me, he was scared and shaking. This is a dog who’s been groomed at other places before and has never acted this way. From the start, I had a bad feeling about Raquel, and now I wish I had trusted my instincts. I feel terrible thinking about whatever may have happened behind closed doors.
