- TRTara RussellOct 11, 20251.0I called petco when I arrived and notified them of my dog being anxious in public and around other animals. They assured me if we came inside they would get us right in, our appointment time was for 12:10. When we got inside my dog was calm for 15 minutes. They had us wait for 30 minutes past our appointment time to which my dog became anxious after the first 15 minutes of being calm. They ended up telling me they did not feel comfortable working on my dog. The way they handled the situation was poor and it all could have been avoided had they gotten us in at our scheduled time, especially after I took the necessary pre cautions to let them know what the situation was and they reassured me they would get us in quickly. Poor handling on their part and I will ensure I let others know about the experience I had.
