- DBdaryl blossNov 12, 20251.0I ordered nulo’s chicken and peas for dogs on Saturday, Nov. 8. After heavy snows Sunday and Monday, I went to pick up my order, which had been paid. I was told by the cashier that there was no order. She went back to the shelf to check and said the food had been returned. She said I could go get the bag and buy it again. So I went to the shelf and carried the 24 lb. bag back to the counter. She rang it up for the full price without the 20% discount. I showed her the email I had received that gave me the discount. She went to the office and came back to say that they would honor the discount this one time. She acted as if I was imposing on her time. She told me to contact customer service because she is just an employee. When I got home I checked my emails and sure enough, I had gotten on email earlier that day that said the order was cancelled because Petco would only hold the order for 3 days. Ordered Saturday, so Tuesday would have been the third day. What’s the point of ordering for in store pickup, if you return to the shelf on the third day. Snarky cashier, bad policy during a snow storm. I have other choices in retailers I’ll use in the future.
