Veterinarian availability varies—book an appointment to ensure one is onsite. Clinics provide only routine vaccines and preventive tests. For emergencies, visit the nearest emergency vet hospital.
Went to Fishers from the south side, we are boarding our dogs in September, so we wanted to get them all done together. The check in girl was pleasant and you could tell she loved dogs. The vet assistant looked mean and wasn’t very nice handling our dog, she let her rear back and almost flipped on her back, luckily she didn’t fall backwards. The vet lady wasn’t very friendly either. They did our one dog and said they couldn’t do the 2nd one because she was trying to get away, they wouldn’t let us help calm her and said she has a fever anyways (how did they get a temp if she wasn’t cooperating). So we went to another place which was way closer, and everyone one was sooo friendly, they let us help and miraculously our dogs didn’t have a fever-will never go to Vetco again. And Petco and Vetco should look into the vet and vet assistant for complaints, because I can’t imagine we are the first ones complaining.

My dog did not receive all the vaccines I requested at our appointment so I had to go back in and get his flu vaccine added on. I was charged an additional $5.99 materials fee but it was not my error. Further, I told the technician that my dog uses Revolution and has a BAD reaction to heart guard. My prescription given was heart guard. I was told this would be updated and sent to me but it has not been. I tried to call the customer line and now I’m told I have to go back to when they have a clinic open to ask about fixing the error again.

Would give zero stars if I could. Booked my cat an appointment to get her rabies vaccine here. When I got there they asked what vaccines she was needing, I told them I just needed the 3 year rabies. They asked if I wanted to add on any additional vaccines as she was due for all her vaccines. I said no, just the rabies as I already had an appointment for her other vaccines at a later date through her normal vet. They then quoted me $113 which seemed steep but given that I had never gone through vetco before I assumed this was just another overpriced vaccine situation. I then watched as they administered 2 different shots and an oral solution to my cat which I found weird, but again didn’t question as I’m not super knowledgeable on pet vaccinations. I paid and left and they said they were emailing a visit summary. When I reviewed the summary it showed that not only did she not get the 3 year rabies, but she got 2 vaccines I did not ask for and a 1 year rabies shot. They had sent a survey to my email asking me to review my recent visit and I expressed my frustration about the situation. An associate with Vetco then reached out defending her staff and offering a 20% off next service as a solution/apology. Bad business practices, unethical medical practices. Will absolutely not be using that 20% coupon as I would never take a pet here again.
