A Beacon of Hope and Compassion: Unwavering Care for Rin at the Banfield Evansville, Indiana I cannot adequately express the depth of my gratitude to Rin's team at the Banfield Veterinary Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Their commitment to my dog, Rin, who is battling cecal cancer, has been nothing short of extraordinary. They haven't just provided medical treatment; they have provided genuine, compassionate partnership through one of the hardest experiences a pet owner can face. From the moment of Rin's diagnosis, the entire staff—from the front desk to the veterinary technicians and Dr. Williams—approached her care plan with meticulous dedication. They ensured every single health prescription, and every nuanced adjustment to her treatment protocol was handled seamlessly. They treat Rin as the precious family member she is. A major concern was managing her strict, specialized food prescription, which is critical for her ongoing nutritional health while fighting cancer. The Banfield Evansville team took complete ownership of this complex logistic challenge. They consistently ensured her specific prescription food is available to her every single week. They stopped her diarrhea, her vomiting and put her on the right prescription food on which she is doing exceptionally well. For all of you out there looking for a veterinary team that is truly committed - one that goes above and beyond, especially when dealing with chronic or specialized care needs, Dr. Williams and the entire Banfield Evansville team are truly exceptional and you will need to look nor further. Their expertise, combined with their profound compassion, has given Rin the best quality of life possible a dog with cecal cancer could ever hope to have. Thank you, Banfield, Evansville!

I came into banfield a few months back with my cat. She’s been having some serious skin issues and has been pulling out her fur, she’s been in a cone for over 4 months now and I went to banfield hoping for a solution to what’s been happening to my poor cat. When I brought her in everything was fine and the staff was super friendly, however when I went to pick her up is when the issues started. I was not greeted by the doctor, I was most literally handed my cat by one of the nurses and told she’s just nervous and needs to be an expensive anxiety medication. That medicine ended up not working at all and made my cat completely lose her appetite. So of course I call banfield again, explain what’s happening and so on. So I receive a call back from the vet and I explained that the second the cone is taken off of my cat she’s ripping out her hair and the vet on the phone laughed. Like most literally laughed and said it was funny, I really didn’t appreciate this— especially since this was mine and my cats first ever vet experience. Later on I end up finding out my cat just has ringworm and a small skin allergy. I felt extremely ignored during this whole process from this office, I felt like everything I was explaining just wasn’t taken into thought what’s so ever and I felt like I just threw almost $200 at a vet office just to be told something completely wrong and then had to spend a extra $60 every two weeks on a medication my cat didn’t even need. I really wished they did a more thorough exam of my cat especially since I paid for it and came in explaining it was something to do with her skin. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this vet.
