We have been bringing all our dogs here for years now. This is the only vet I will trust with my dogs they always are so happy to see them and always take such great care of them. Recently my boy Frankie got sick and they did everything they could for him and always took great care of him. Sadly we lost him a few weeks ago and they were so gentle and comforting to us and Frankie in that time. They did an Amazing job on his paw print and such after. They are honestly the best out there.

I'm glad I'm finally voicing everything I had been through with this place. I honest to God still cannot believe how this business is run. This was about 3/4 months ago.
So, I've had a lot of problems with this place. The first time we went there I had no clue what to do for my poor cat. He'd been struggling to poop but I wasn't sure what to do honestly. They mentioned that they might do an enema but we told them that we prefer not to and to try to get to the root problem since enemas only clear him out for so long. They went ahead and did an enema without calling and we ended up getting a refund. They gave us no other information about his condition other than suggesting to get a MRI which we couldn't afford at the time. Another month rolls around and I'm trying out new things on him that didn't seem to work. Then I tried giving him omega 3 vitamins but gave him too much because i misread the label. I went into a panic as I realized what I'd done 2 days later when he wasn't eating/drinking/pooping and lethargic. We called Banfield but they couldn't get him in until 3 days later. My boyfriend said the lady on the phone was being extremely rude and abrasive arguing about the fact that he could die if we didn't take him to an emergency vet. It was extremely upsetting to hear that in such an emotional time. I took him to an immediate care and ruled out the omega 3 overdose and said he was severely and chronically constipated. I had them give my cat the full service that he needed, including an x-ray and enema. The days leading up to his scheduled Banfield visit, he was still lethargic and still hadn't pooped. After we took him in to Banfield I got a call from the vet Dr. Sabel, and she was downright the rudest person I had ever spoken to. She told me that they needed to do another x-ray and was arguing with me that he had not had an x-ray done at the immediate care. I literally called immediate care and confirmed that they had done the x-ray and told that to Dr. Sabel. She kept saying (and said probably 3 times) "well if you don't want the x-ray then you can just take your cat back then." Like what? No, my cat NEEDED help, I just didn't want unnecessary charges added on to this expensive endeavor. It felt like she thought I was a waste of her time and that she didn't give two shits about my cat's life/chronic condition. My boyfriend ended up on the phone too and they got into a screaming match and I had to scream at them to stop. I told Dr. Sabel that I don't need all this hostility and rudeness, and that I just needed her to treat my cat. So even though the Dr. Sabel didn't tell me why I needed another x-ray and was fully convinced that he had not received an x-ray, I went with it anyway. All just because I wanted my cat treated. This whole ordeal was so upsetting that I ended up sobbing in between interactions. I literally just wanted my cat to be okay. Thank goodness that he's okay now though but whenever I walk in for his medication I'll occasionally see some of the vets or vet techs walk out and glare at me. So yeah, "real nice place" and "really caring people". Just take my word for it and don't ever go here, they don't care about you or your pets wellbeing.

Our family came in yesterday to send our baby over the rainbow bridge which is obviously a very difficult time. I want to say the vet and vet techs were AMAZING and so compassionate throughout the whole experience. However, someone needs to talk to the receptionist. Her attitude was so uncalled for. She kept giving us different numbers when we asked how much it was to be to get the ashes back and wasn’t forthcoming with any information unless we specifically asked and just seemed very inconvenienced by our existence. It was extremely upsetting. It really soured an already awful day.

Editing to add: Dr Bulger has called me not once, but twice, dishing out threats for this review I left. They refuse to answer any questions I have regarding billing because I left this review. Something is wrong here & I further caution anyone who considers entrusting these unethical providers with the care of their beloved pets.
STAY AWAY! This office is attempting to defraud my family after I left my dog in their care for a teeth cleaning & picked her up 10 mins later without having her teeth cleaned because they called me & continued to try to sell me things & give my pet a vaccine she had previously had a negative reaction to. The tech was in full agreement at the time of drop off that we need to preserve her safety & we wouldn’t want to tax her system before the procedure so we’d handle the vaccines after the fact. In addition, her lab work showed she was not ready to undergo anesthesia (supposedly) & she needed MORE services to determine if her system could handle it AND despite that, they wanted to potentially kill her by giving her a vaccine I already said no to. If her system can’t handle anesthesia, in what world is she okay to have a vaccine she reacts to on top of that?! Perplexing. I also ONLY agreed to the minimal blood work needed for the procedure (a CBC ONLY) & again, after I left the building, they continued to push me for more so my husband went to get her. 6 months later, they have sent a bill to collections (without any prior attempts to so much as contact us) for over $600. I was quoted under $600 for the entire experience, including the office visit, blood work AND the teeth cleaning. She never had her teeth cleaned & somehow we owe over $600. At her initial visit, they tried to sell me $60 ear cleaner, told me my dog who is full of hair has alopecia & that she’s overweight (she’s 8lbs & is not overweight by any sense) & wanted to sell me medication & diet food. The entire experience was a money grab & the wellbeing of my pet meant nothing. I called the office and spoke to Shana who is nothing short of disrespectful disrespectful & got an email today of them claiming services rendered that were not rendered. They are committing fraud! I wouldn’t bring my pet here for any reason whatsoever! I am in utter shock that a place charged with caring for our pets could be so absolutely disgusting. I am in contact with my attorney & will pursue this to the fullest extent. Stay far away from this place!
