I brought my toy poodle in for grooming and very clearly explained that I did NOT want her cut short. I specifically requested only a light trim and clean-up, and stated that if any cutting was necessary, it should be only under her belly and under her ears. I even showed the groomer on the size board exactly how long her coat should remain. Despite these very clear instructions, I picked up my dog and she was completely shaved, looking nothing like what I requested. This was not a misunderstanding — my instructions were specific and repeated. If I wanted my dog shaved like this, I could have done it at home for free. I certainly would not have paid $100 for a haircut that looks uneven, rushed, and careless — as if a child had done it. My dog looks unrecognizable, and my children are crying every time they see her. This experience has been upsetting for our entire family. I trusted this salon with my pet and feel that my instructions were completely ignored. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this groomer to anyone who cares about their dog’s appearance and well-being.Very disappointed.
