    Buying products at Petco is a great experience. We have a 9 month year old kitten, and I bought a pet toy called Cat Dancer. She absolutely loves this toy. I also bought Royal Canin Kitten Food which she seems to like. We were successful Royal Canin Siamese Cat Food users for 19 years for most of our cats. It is a good food for cats who gulp their food and end up vomiting it. This brand slows down their digestion of cat food.

    Tyler was extremely knowledgeable and helped us pick out the perfect beta fish for my 4 year old birthday. The tank, additives/decorations to the tank, and the fish were all picked out based off of the recommendations of Tyler. He really made my 4 year old happy! One month later and our beta "rainbow" is thriving.

    Had the best experience this week getting a fish and all the supplies. Tyler the manager was so kind and knew what he was talking about. 100% recommend him and his staff go above and beyond!

    Mixed feelings about this place! No one seems to ever know what’s going on, between employees. We drove an hour to purchase a guinea pig for our very excited 7 year old. She chose the one she wanted, but I noticed one of the others with him, had what looked to be ringworm, so I asked if this would be passed to ours. The staff freaked out and removed the sick one..came back and said, they were not comfortable letting us purchase the other one we wanted. My daughter has autism so it was quite upsetting to her, as she had her heart set on him. I left my number and asked them to call me in 3 days with an update and we’d hold off getting one elsewhere. No one called. I called them and they said..yes he’s there!! He’s now free to go! We drive over there and he’s not there!! I was informed by another worker that the manager had taken one back as it had an upper respiratory infection!! I ask them if we chose another, which she did not want to do… if it would be contagious! They said no! She decided to go with a similar one. We noticed before we left he had crusty eyes and again asked..could this be him getting sick but was assured it was only an allergy to the bedding they use, but they said to purchase eye drops to help. We get home and the next day he’s sneezing and snotty. He won’t eat much, lethargic. I call and ask what to do. My daughter wants him but he’s sick..can we take him to vet? And they pay bill? Or do we have to bring him back?! They instructed us to bring him back and they’d make him a vet appointment. They’d also be refunding him and his eye drops …and for the trouble of driving there FOUR times, they’d be throwing in some food, hay, and a treat. When we went to pick him up after his vet appointment, they made us REPURCHASE him!! Insane. It was stressed to us, by Renee, that he would absolutely be refunded, then we had to rebuy him. After all this?!? Rebuying an already sick Guinea pig?? Pretty sure Laken was not instructed correctly! Between the sick animals and miscommunication between staff AND customers, this place is a mess! We were so impressed that they were taking care of it and making it right until we got recharged!!! Would love to hear back from the owner!
