- AAanon anonnn6 days ago1.0I recently bought a clown pleco from this Petco. I noticed immediately the only pleco they had looked unwell. his stomach was sunk in and losing his color. I then had to go find somebody in store because nobody was around and found two workers elbow to elbow at the checkout counter just chatting. I felt bad and bought him anyway to hopefully give him a fighting chance. I mentioned it to the lady helping me and she said "he's just hungry bc we just got them in today from the shipment." I knew that was a bold face lie so I called them after I left and asked whoever answered the phone when they get their fish and pleco shipments in. I was told they come tomorrow. meaning he likely had been starving the whole week bc they didn't get him today, they got him last week. needless to say but just to be very crystal clear, they had a ridiculous amount of dead fish in almost every single tank. almost every single tank had at least one to three fish just floating. if you don't care about the marine life that you are responsible for while working there, then either move to a different department or get a new job entirely because even though they're just fish it's still undeniably neglect. do better.

I was able to find an amazing selection of items at a very reasonable cost during a last minute shopping trip. I'm so thankful for the festive items I brought home to honor my passed fur babies. Thanks Petco!

I live about 50 minutes away from this store so I called a couple days ahead about a tank for my turtle and they gave me the information I needed. The day I came to pick it up Josh and Dacy were so helpful, offered me the premium membership and helped load it!! Will definitely return. Thankyou!
