The trainers and pet sitters are all so happy and treat our dog like their own. A very warm and friendly place. We are very comfortable leaving our dog with them. He is spoiled there!

Our puppy is 10 months and she's a dauchsund so super stubborn. We did the 2 week residency program and she learned so much. We will be doing the more advanced classes soon. Highly recommend!!!!

My partner and I will only take our dog Dunkin to A Closer Bond. When we first adopted him, he was very timid and nervous, and would freeze if other people approached him. After five weeks of day training, he's confident, knows a bunch of practical commands (sit, down, stay, heel, come) and loves socializing with other dogs. All the staff know and love Dunkin and treat him as if he were their pet. Can't recommend this place enough!

We have had a wonderful experience with A Closer Bond - all of the staff are super helpful and caring. We are 3/4 through our extensive training program and planning to continue into therapy dog training and Alyssa has been exceptional to work with! So grateful for this place!

Frequently Asked Questions About A Closer Bond Dog Training & Learning Center - Wood Street

What is an Off-Leash Play Evaluation?

Off-leash play evaluations are required before your pup comes to enrichment program or overnight care and they allow us to see if they're fit for off-leash play with a group of dogs. Our Petcare Technician Leaders take their time to allow your dog to explore their new surroundings and evaluate how your dog handles new people, places, sounds, and other dogs. After your dog completes their evaluation you will receive a report on our findings of your dog’s off-leash play style and what services are well suited for you and your dog. An off- leash evaluation is for a full day. They are set up by appointment.

What vaccines do you require?

We require Rabies and Distemper vaccines. If you choose to get the Bordatella vaccine, please wait a minimum of ten days before visiting us as that vaccine is a live virus.
